I am a mother of four young children who has respect for the place of the arts in day to day living. Face to Face began as a volunteer endeavor in an attempt to create an opportunity for creative expression as well as a way to contribute to the larger community.
Face painting dates back thousands of years and spans many different cultures. It has roots in spirituality, entertainment, sports, politics and social culture. Perhaps today, it is a way to connect with our own childhood and need for play.
Face painting creates a festive atmosphere at celebrations, festivals & community events. It allows for individuals to be temporarily transformed - to imagine themselves as more or to make a statement.
Look forward to having the chance to free up that little child in you...
